IMO this 5 game losing streak was the exact Flames team we expected at the beginning of the season. Hard working with no finish. How many games do they have to lose before some of you realize that shots on net and outplaying teams 2/3 periods means nothing when they don't result in wins? Sugarcoating losses is the same stuff we were making fun of Oilers fans and media this season.
You still have to look at the season as glass half full because being over .500 is a solid accomplishment but I refuse to sugarcoat losing as that's how loser mentalities start. The Flames haven't been good enough end of story.
