21 lies right in the middle between GlenDronach 15 and Singleton 35 which are close on that chart....middle of the road smokey/delicate but right at the upper end of the rich axis.
17 doesn't have as close of a comparison but Cragganmore 12 looks the closest. Middle of the road smokey/delicate again and slight richness.

Thanks. I didn't realize there was a different chart. I was actually looking at the older one posted which wasn't as comprehensive. I enjoy the Hibiki 17, but I'm not looking to replace it. I'm looking to foray instead. I know I enjoy the Laphroaig QC and I'm looking at this new chart thinking I can use Talisker 10 ($83) and Highland Park 12 ($57 KWM) as gateway experiments towards Lagavulin.
If that direction isn't any good, I can recede and go towards Oban ($115 KWM)
Reasonable idea? I wouldn't buy overpriced of course. Just ball parking a price range. (Crikey these are pricey)
