My 'beef' is simply I find it ridiculous that someone that clearly should not be operating a vehicle with their current skills is let off the hook with a fine that's less than going 120km/hr on Deerfoot Tr.
Add in the fact that she hit something... How is this okay? Yeah she'll have to pay for the damage but in my opinion the punishment is not severe enough.
Doesn't need to be a huge fine, and hoping for something like license suspension pending re-testing is probably a pipe dream. I just can't believe there's no law regarding someone that clearly can't safely operate a vehicle.

Driving a motor vehicle is the most dangerous thing many people will do in their lives. It is frightening that this lady is freely driving around in a 5000 lb SUV capable of going very fast and she lacks basic driving and spatial awareness skills.
Driving on public roads is a privilege and this lady is certainly not competent enough to be on public roads.
