The rear view cameras can get pretty dirty and can get poor visibility (her car is quite dirty in the back). In the video she never once looked behind her, and does not look to have ever used her mirrors. Note how at around 1:10 she backs up and looks to her left window almost in shock to find a car there. She spend the next 40 seconds slowly making the highest point right turn ever back and forth, never once looking back to see that the car has since moved away, yet still measuring as if the car was still there. Her camera was most likely obstructed, and she never learned how to back up properly. When thinking of her driving as being fully dependant on an obstructed rear view camera, her behaviour makes perfect sense. She was in effect backing up blind, with her low skillset.
This is what happens when people get used to rear view cameras and never bother learning basic skills, with no ability to gauge distances and the size of her car. Even though I have a rear view camera and it does help (also have a BMW X3), I never use it for backing up. When dirty, it's not useable.
