For the others who are drinking Hibiki, where does it sit on that earlier chart that was circulating? What is a closer comparison similarities wise?

I'm about 40% left on my Hibiki 17, 60% left on a Macallan 10. My stomach isn't fighting at all and I'm excited! Looking to add a few bottles in and I'm interested in Lagavulin (thanks videos!) and perhaps Oban (Thanks videos again!).... But I can't justify the price when I'm blowing huge money at Christmas (69.99 and 99.99 at Costco). Maybe in January... we shall see.

Definitely thinking of adding a nice bottle of Alberta Premium to the stands in the meanwhile, but what do you think I should try next in terms of Similarities to Hibiki and/or should I try the Lagavulin?

I really liked the Laphroaig Quarter Cask. Smoky is good and the sweet aftertaste... delish. But the taste changed over time to something that was a bit more, meh (1.5-2 year? when stomach was fighting back). I actually started drinking VSOP when my stomach issues happened as it didn't upset my stomach and I'm excited to meander back to scotch/whiskey.

Hype aside, does anyone have any thoughts on Arbelour and Talisker? (Edit: Eliminated the other ones)

Finally, where does "peaty" go on that taste chart? Bottom against smoky?
