well then tell me why great shows like Arrested Development, Dead Like Me, and Firefly can get cancelled while still gaining large critical acclaim, but trash like Joey can get another season. to me TV is in the same boat as mainstream music, a successful pattern is found and milked for all it's worth and quality stuff gets lost in the mass of crap
