lady today at shoppers drug mart decided to pay for most of her items then go pick out some more wrapping paper. I'm usually fairly patient, but i guess i just wasn't having it today.
"are we waiting for someone?" (obviously i know we're waiting for someone)
"yeah, she's just grabbing one more thing over there"
*i look over, she's digging through a display with a sales associate, with no end to her search in site
"aren't people typically supposed to get everything they want before they come to the 'til?"
"umm sir, you can probably get helped at the cosmetics counter if you don't want to wait here".
I felt like the drunk guy at the bar, where the waitresses realize he's getting to "that point" so they try to calmly but forcefully get him out of their establishment.
But seriously, the nerve of some shoppers. I'm not trying to sound like mr. Ialwaysdotherightthing, but if that's me and i realize i either forgot something or suddenly want more things, i ether
a) leave the line before i start getting checked through, or
b) realize that i'm already being checked out and it's now too late to resume shopping
