Uber is run by the kind of scum that has lied about doing background checks, is extremely cavalier about how it treats your personal data and has proposed digging into and posting the personal lives of media, bloggers and other commentators covering the fact that Uber is run by scumbags. Especially if said commentators are women.

I would support changes to how Taxis are handled in Calgary and would support other services coming in, but would absolutely oppose Uber.
