So if the Oilers finish last, they still have a 100 per cent change of drafting a player widely regarded as a franchise player. Way better prospect than any of the guys they drafted with their previous #1 picks, and probably better than Stamkos or Tavares.

Ahhh that's the beauty of the new draft rules. They could still fall to 3rd pick.
