I don't necessarily believe that. Are there even many if any children that were names Barbie at youth? It's just an abbreviation for Barbera.
I find it hard to believe that if someone named their son Adolf (I don't think you can in Alberta at least) that he would grow up to have an unhealthy hatred of the Jewish.
