I can't get over how much stress it was, fun sure, but I would estimate in any 40 man raid, about 15 people were top notch, 10-15 were just decent enough to help, 10 people would have been probably better not being there as they caused more trouble than anything, useless players who couldn't move out of fire, just stood there with a bomb on them, etc..
To describe leading a guild and raids as a thankless job isn't doing how awful it is justice. I have no issues with people who use Guild leading on a resume, just because of how AMAZING of a people person you have to be.

I hated it. I am too gruff and don't interact with people who #### up regularly too well. I was used as the disciplinary head of a three headed guild leading monster. I was absolutely hated by a majority of people because of it since if I was sending you a pm, chances are you were being told to shut up in raid or losing gkarma for being a dickhead.

You're forced to massage egos and keep people happy whether they deserve it or not. I still remember a female mage named Newsense that we ended up having to gkick because of all the issues she caused. Trying to use her gender as a reason she should get gear and then flipping #### when it went to someone else because they won the roll after bidding. Blaming leaders for being sexist or pming people who did win the gear to pass it to her and then accusing them of it. Gah. I get irritated talking about it again nearly four years later.

#### MC.
#### leading a guild.

Why am I even playing this game again?!
