Kamloops RCMP are conducting a manhunt this morning after one of their own was shot. Corporal Cheryl Bush says the incident took place after a traffic stop near the corner of Batchelor Drive and North River Drive at about 2:45 this morning. Bush says the officer was attempting to conduct a traffic stop when an exchange of gunfire occurred. The officer was hit and is undergoing surgery at Royal Inland Hospital for serious injuries.Bush says the suspects are still on the loose. RCMP are asking the public to be on the lookout for a white 1998 Chrysler Intrepid. It bears license plate number AF765A
