Seems to me there are a lot easier ways to get a meal than to try to go after something that, if you're a dog, you can't really kill, and will start chewing on you as soon as you bite into it.

Dogs love rotting questionable meat, and dogs, once the free bowl of alpo twice daily is gone, will pack up and start hunting, slow shuffling sacks of meat would seem the easiest meal out there.
