The epic novel is getting a major re-do via
Hollywood.
To this day, it's still the largest single book and one of my favorites that I've ever read.
Matthew McConaughey has signed on to be the villain, Randall Flagg.
As much flack as the mini-series got back in 1994, I still enjoyed it.
Gary Sinise should totally come back as Stu Redman. Though he may look pretty old.
A four part movie does seems excessive. Perhaps a 10 part mini-series on HBO or something would be a better fit.
I doubt the regular public would want to wait so long in between films.
