Yeah, and in the 3 years before that he got a whopping 12 goals combined, and played like a listless overpaid zombie. Are other GM's supposed to forget that because of a hot 33 games? I don't this value was as high as you think it was. While certainly not a steal, I hardly consider it a tragedy. I'll ask though, what would have made it acceptable to you?
I think in a few years, Poirier alone will make us forget all about Jay Bouwmeester. Hell, I forgot about the guy while he was still here.
