Teaser looks good. I wonder if there would be any benefit to, now that you know you have a well received and great teaser, not release a trailer at all. From a marketing standpoint, you would then have this teaser where everyone is jacked, and then keep audiences in complete mystery right until release Dec 2015. I'm not sure they'll be able to help themselves though. But do you risk turning off a few fans if the next trailer doesn't live up to the hype? This movie is going to make a crapton of money.
I always liked the 3rd movie of the prequels, I actually did like how they showed Vader turn into Vader. The first two were bad, but the 3rd I thought good. I do wonder if they went back in time, would they still cast Hayden Christiansen as Anakin? That seemed to be a mistake.
Finally, the fact of the matter to me is that the original Star Wars were just great stories. As much as it was cool to see the sci-fi take, and obviously all the amazing special effects that Lucas pulled into the originals to take movies to a place they'd never been before, those movies still had terrific plots.
These next three movies are going to have to have great scripts, no matter how cool looking they are. That's my bottom line at least.
