If a regular citizen shot a guy 6 times for punching him in the face...I'm pretty sure that citizen would go to trial.
How this doesn't even get an involuntary manslaughter indictment is insane to me. At the absolute very least it was excessive force. Brown was completely unarmed, if he'd been aiming a gun at Wilson it would be an entirely different story. Punching an officer is absolutely grounds for arrest, but not grounds for execution.
