That's not the story at all. As I wrote in the back burner forum:

Huska has been rotating defencemen the entire season to make sure they all get playing time. Sieloff has been playing the last few games, but was scratched tonight to get Culkin in who has sat for the last 4 games. Ramage played a few games ago, but sitting out now to put Stevenson in.

The "issue" is just simply too many defenceman and being many are rookies and young guys, they are playing on a rotation system. There could be a chance later one might be sent to the ECHL like Kulak just to ensure they get more playing time. The Flames just don't have spots for all the guys we have on defence.
Sieloff has actually been playing most of the games this year. He was sat last night in order to put Culkin in who had been sitting for 4 games, mostly due to the fact the team was on a winning streak.

Huska has a heck of a job right now trying to pencil in all these defencemen. We just don't have the space for them. Right now, a call-up of Wotherspoon might be welcome as one of our younger guys might be guaranteed some more playing time.
