I could definitely see a scenario playing out where Bennett recovers, practices with the team for a month, plays 2 weeks worth of games in the AHL and then plays his 9 games with the Flames. Honestly, the only thing that accomplishes is to screw both Bennett and his junior team. If he's recovered, he needs to be playing games.
