He claims that Anaheim showed in the first two periods that they can impose their will, control the game, and the Flames couldn't handle their size and strength along the wall and in the corners.
Interesting. Can we then counter argue that in the third period the Flames showed that Anaheim can't contain their speed and puck movement from the backend, through the neutral zone, and in the middle of the ice?
I found myself thinking after the second that the Flames were not big enough nor strong enough to play with the Ducks. In the third period, they made it look easy. I am starting to think that "getting pushed around" in the big, heavy Western Conference is not going to be much of an issue for this team.
