I was definitely one of the ones that felt it was time for him to go, even before he did. However, even as someone who really felt it was time to move on, I'm amazed (and in a way appalled) by the magnitude of the culture change in this team since he left. It's way beyond any reasonable expectation.

is telling. I don't think anyone is suggesting Iginla did it on purpose, but when the Alpha Dog isn't buying in completely, that trickles down, and I think there's some indication that that was happening. It was pretty much an overnight change.
Loved his time here, greatest Flame ever, but sometimes players become bigger than the franchise and cast a cloud over the team. Best intentions or not.
