I like bringing in a good defensive catcher, who is a great pitch framer.
Jays have lots of good young arms coming up and having a good catcher to help them out will end up being huge.
We saw the difference the JPA to Navarro made, this will be another step up.
Also allows Navarro to be trade bait, in a market where few catchers are available.
