If the Repubicans were smart, they would try to be diplomatic and find legit solutions to problems in order to win in 16'. However, from their rhetoric and actions since they won the senate back, that looks doubtful.
In 16, all the tea party guys are up for re-election. If they don't stop being ridiculous the Dems will re-take both houses and likely the presidency.
