I have a friend in Winnipeg who nearly fell for this. Apparently the joke varies, as many have actually ruined iPods, Androids, Blackberries, etc. You would think people would use common sense.

So if you see anything about how microwaves have the "amazing" ability to charge up cell phone batteries in a matter of seconds, DON'T FALL FOR IT!
