So take this with a grain of salt, but a friend who works at the Saddledome mentioned that it looks like the plan is the area north of McMahon stadium as a potential build site for the new Saddledome, which will be based on cowboy hat (dunno how that will work and ugh..), the area includes the field and baseball stadium. Apparently it will be announced around Christmas time.
This makes a bit of sense to me because McMahon is ancient and the Stamps need a new Stadium, but they built new buildings right across the McMahon parking lot near the practice field which means to me they have plans to stay around there. I am wondering could they make one massive complex or two interconnected complexes? I think that would be pretty cool.
