Yes, which is why I think you'd see a lot of weekday games along with weekend afternoon games. It could work.
I'm not even 100% sure it would work myself, but I do see the possibilities. Great location for the rink, great tourist trap, there's a decent gamble there to take for the league (pun intended).
I think for the NHL, being the weakest of the 4 major sports in the U.S., to take the leap of faith and put a franchise in Vegas is worth the risk. I really hope it works.
