I'm in Vancouver right now visiting family. Naturally, at the local pub, I started badmouthing Vancouver and pumping the Flames.

A guy next to me leans over after I make a Cloutier comment and says;

Him: "You shouldn't be mean to that guy... it's really too bad what happened to him..."
Me: "You mean getting injured in the playoffs?"
Him: "No, didn't you hear? He tried to commit suicide.
Me: "Really?!?! I never heard about this, is it recent??
Him: "Yeah, he threw himself in front of a car, but it went between his legs".

That joke never gets old!!!

On one of the Don Cherry videos they have an old clip of him interviewing Bobby Orr, and Orr tells the joke with...Cheevers? as the goalie. Might've been someone else
