I've got nothing to hide, and always lock my doors, but still, just don't touch my stuff.

Really don't care though. Eliminates the easy car thefts and the subsequent police manpower is able to be used for something else. Some places have a bylaw saying you have to lock your door.

This is really not an issue though as far as I'm concerned. Seems like a waste of time for the police but their reasoning makes sense I guess.
