I would think if Granlund and Jooris keep it up, Hartley should approach a veteran, or two, and ask them if they would like to be part of a team contending now. If the answer is yes, Hartley looks to make a move or two - likely for a prospect (who can play in the AHL now) and a pick.
If Glencross is looking for that big pay day after this year, and a team is willing to go to the table with him now to negotiate an extension with him, it may be in the best interests of the Flames (and Glencross himself) to facilitate a move.
There's many contending teams that could use a player of his grit and skill. Pittsburgh, for one thing. Boston could as well.
