Formulate seemed to suggest that investigations would be blocked on him, if we assume that the Godfather has a similar power it starts to make sense why the two 'tracking' results on her (HG15 and Timbo) seemed to just fail.
The one thing that has me pretty convinced is just how defensive Girlysports was of Starseed early on. I mean more than a couple suspected her of being MOT2 before Puxlut was revealed (and that only happened after she said she was saved that night).
Then even Aeneas, who almost seemed to have taken the opposite approach of Girlysports when it came to Starseed even seem to defend the 'masons' a bit in this post:
