Another situation where I feel like you can game the system is if you're killing a 5 on 3 at the end of the game and protecting a lead, the goalie should just knock over the net every 10 seconds until time runs out.
Sure you get like 5 delay of game penalties, but you're not in any worse situation, and the other team doesn't have enough time to really set up a play. And you get to make line changes and such every time.

Except for the part where deliberately pushing the net off in the final two minutes is a penalty shot. So yeah, not so smart.
