I'm going to chuck a few hypotheticals at you guys:
Say the Flames make or are extremely close to the playoffs this year and aren't in the mix for a lottery pick. Say the consensus opinion shifts towards Pronman's statement that it's a 'good' draft and not this hyped-up 'Best Draft Ever'. Is there a point where Treliving should start listening to trade offers for our 1st round pick? What sort of player would need to be coming our way for people here to be ok with trading that much-coveted pick?
