Healy is just an annoying personality. I was rather surprised that he was hired by Sportsnet. It seems there is not a single fan base out there that like him, or that he hasn't rubbed the wrong way. He just likes to be controversial. That, unfortunately, seems to be the state of journalism these days. The more controversial you can be, the more people will click on your articles and pay attention to you.

We need to have less mention of Healy, and much more mention of Duhatschek. Here is an actual good article by an actual insightful journalist who not only has great ideas for articles, and a wonderful writing style, but doesn't rely on gimmicks or controversy to remain relevant. How Sportsnet didn't hire him (maybe they tried?) I will never know.

Quote:
Leaving Zurich, part of the talk was this team had to go through a rebuild – and you can’t go through a rebuild if you don’t show confidence in your young players,” said Hartley.
“For me, it’s a very easy equation. If you put tons of pressure on those kids, they’re going to crumble. You don’t give them a chance to succeed. So we’re giving them challenges and they’re having fun and they’re working hard. We’re making everything possible.”
Interesting quote that I don't think has ever been picked-up on. The consensus when Hartley took over was that this team needed a rebuild. However, that season they were 'trying to win' still (though not mortgaging the future to do so). Interesting that Hartley mentions rebuilding when first coming over.
