I disagree that +/- isn't meaningful.
Relative +/- is. When you are like Giordano (last year) and are +10 on the Flames when nearly every player is minus, it is indeed telling.
To compare one player to another on a different team is not.
That O'Reilly is bad in relation to the rest of his own team is telling, imo.
