At some point you gotta think we'll have a glut of forwards. If we're to make room for the likes of Bennett, Granlund, Poirier, Ferland, Klimchuk, Jooris, Baertschi, etc in the next 1-2 years while still hanging onto the likes of Backlund, Monahan, Gaudreau, Raymond, Colbourne, Byron and Hudler - something's gotta give. You'd have to think players like Glencross, Stajan, Jones, Bouma, Bollig (maybe hudler) etc will have to go. Then again, you don't want a team of rookies and other inexperienced players either. Then you have wildcard prospects like Hunter Smith and Mark Jankowski developing as well.

At deadline or in off-season, do you package a couple forwards for a top 4 defence?

I know that fans tend to probably over-rate their own prospects and players, but jeez, it seems a bit of an embarrassment of riches right now in our forward prospect pool.
