Detroit is a bad example as it will be a higher interest game. But generally, you would be able to get good prices on the less interesting games on the secondary market.
The primary market is still fairly strong. Consider what is available for the January 2 game against the Islanders right now:

Two months away, and there is only three spots in the lower two bowls where you can find four seats together - two of those are obstructed view due to being right by the players benches. But, this is also undoubtedly a game that many people will skip, and could end up like Friday's was in terms of turnstile count. That will depress he hell out of re-sale prices.
