Your previous post has a lot of wisdom in terms of dire consequences.
As for the eternals thing, it was a bad play on my part that spun out of control. There definitely are some threats and consequences for pika if I didn't follow the instructions. I shouldn't have said there weren't threats, but there were. I was trying to place a rosy persona about the eternals, in the hopes for more powers. Pika was hoping for more things that would help him and the town continue to kill mafia. It backfired completely. I also hoped that if I painted myself into a corner, that another power message would appear from them to save me. This did not happen to chu.
I really wanted an invite, as I think I was the only one who hadn't received one yet, so I tried baiting them into giving me one earlier in the game. I have a really good idea who wrote the invite I received, and I'm almost positive it was sent specifically to make me look terrible in front of everyone. Pika would have done the same if I was that guy, but the one thing he didn't consider, was that I would actually make a good use of it. That's why I think I haven't been contacted by them since. Again, I could be wrong, and I might only get one message. Pika tried bargaining with them and was told no.
I wanted to accept it during night seven, so that I'd have it today, but I felt I was going to be lynched on day 7. I accepted it and used it 30 seconds later. Pika also likes the element of surprise.
I also didn't want others to know how the eternal powers worked completely, as they don't care if there are scum or townies on their team. I didn't want scum to know what was required. Pika's end game hasn't changed, and I only win when all threats to the light have been eliminated. I didn't want scum to get better powers that would help defeat me.
