Glenlivit is easy and smooth. Quarter Cask is like drinking a campfire. I love it but not everyone does. If you want something easy go with the Glenlivit. I used to always drink Glenlivit 15 until I tried a Bowmore 12. Once I had that I was hooked on the smoke/peat.
