Maybe it's the same thing as being a "loser client", but if he had the dough to make it worth their while, they'd keep working for him. I've been a shameless corporate shill myself, and I know that as long as the money keeps rolling in, blind eyes will be turned.

This guy ain't going to make a nickel anytime soon, and (even though I'm sure he made some real loot at the CBC), he won't be able to afford anything like a swank PR firm for long. He's literally not worth the trouble, but if he was worth the trouble, they'd take the trouble.

And now it's time for a lame pop culture reference -- that crappy movie "The Devil's Own" was on the other night, and in one scene an overacting Keanu Reeves was shouting at Coach Craig T. Nelson that he wouldn't be able to defend him if he didn't tell him the goddamn truth!

This sorta reminds me of that. Jian didn't tell them what they were getting into, and when they figured it out, and figured out that he couldn't pay them (I read somewhere that they bill $600 bucks an hour, which seems kind of low) they dumped him.

In the movie, Craig T. Nelson was able to afford it of course, and Keanu was able to get him off. But as we all know, this nefarious business brought down the forces of heaven and hell on his life and beautiful wife Charlize Theron, so in the end it wasn't worth it.

And it was also all a dream, so I guess this nonsensical post is going nowhere, but it's got to end somewhere, and somewhere is right here, with the period at the end of this sentence.
