I'm confused is this a reboot or a continuation of the trilogy?

Lol, if its a reboot Skynet sends back the t800 to kill Sarah Connor, then the t1000 to kill John Connor and then figures it out and goes for Sarah's parents?

In which case she should already be expecting it in T1 and T2. WTF.
