Like others have mentioned, my only real gripe is the audio syncing problem. I have a soundbar thingy on one of my TVs, and it actually lets you compensate for a difference in the audio in 25 millisecond increments. I find that I need to adjust it by 100-125 milliseconds to get it right. All other programs are always perfectly in sync without any adjustment.
Maybe I am mistaken, but in previous years, the commentary seemed to be ahead of the action, but the on-ice sounds seemed to be in sync. This season, the on-ice sounds are horribly off.
I'm pretty easy to please when it comes to broadcasts. I think that we lucked out with Ball and Hrudey, and I skip much of the talking heads during the intermission anyway. But that audio syncing issue is just so obvious, yet it is impossible for a viewer to ignore. If they fix anything, they need to do that first.
