Yeah $400 is a bit much of an adapter that "sorta" works. Although I found this one with decent reviews for closer to $80, but they make no real claims of the auto focus working.

As for the Sony 10-18mm, I'm sure it's a great lens... but would pretty well double my budget for a "travel" camera.
