What is your opinion of this, about 2000 anti-war activists, including the parent of a slain hostage, are sending photos of life in America to to ordinary Iraqi's with banners such as:

“With deep shame, we apologize for the suffering our country has brought to the people of Iraq,” says a banner in a photo showing 11 people in Vancouver, Wash.

The purpose of the photo's is to counter the impact of the abu Ghraib prison photographs and the invasion.

Veterans Affairs officials view it in a different light:

Jerry Newberry, spokesman for the Veterans of Foreign Wars, said, “This type of thing only serves to undermine the effort and the sacrifice of our military in Iraq. These people on the face of it seem to have a political agenda. ... It implies that what we’re attempting to do in Iraq is shameful.”

Is this Jane Fonda going to Hanoi all over again? Or fair protest? How will it be perceived.
