This is exactly what I saw. There was one point there in the second where I chuckled at two attempts on the same shift at a wrap-around goal. It was as if the thought was:
"I've seen Johnny Gaudreau score on this shot. I should try it!"
followed by:
"Hmmm. That looked a lot easier when he did it."

How much has his dynamic creativity possibly played into other players on the team forcing plays in the offensive zone?

In the end, a frustrating game, but probably not terribly surprising. I still believe that this team is better than the pre-season predictions.
