The further away from the arena, the less likely people would be willing to travel on a regular basis, as a STH, to see games.... especially since LV and its surrounding areas are not traditional hockey markets
But, assuming you are correct, I think the biggest deterent to a healthy fan base is the median income. Season tickets are expensive.
