I'm sure this type of article appeals to a lot of Canadians, but it's also really naive. The Parliament Building and Canadians got off easy this week. This could have been a coordinated attack involving several people with bombs strapped on. Like it or not, security at government and military sites will and should be increased. Funding for CSIS will also need to be increased significantly to provide more/constant surveillance on suspected terrorists.
I doubt Macleans writes a similar article after the next terrorist attack in this country.
