Interesting take on the fourth line situation. There was speculation in the Game Takes thread after the loss to Columbus as to whether Hartley was a guy who truly rolled 4 lines or preferred three lines with spot duty from the fourth.

I don't think it's coincidence that this game was the first time we had all 4 lines in the 12-18 minute range, given that the game was essentially over with 15 minutes to go. The minutes were down for Giordano and Brodie as well.

I think you'll see so many close games with this club over the course of the season that we will still see the fourth line get 6-8 minutes most nights.
