There's a company called "Mattress Girls and Guys" (with independent sales people). I have not seen or heard of better deals on all the usual names of mattresses. They cost so much less because they buy the beds that hotels have left when they over-order (which is apparently very frequently). The salesperson in Calgary is Deanna (403-861-8655). Not pushy, there's very little negotiating because the price is already so low.
We've bought three beds from her over the years. All have been excellent and all three were queens/kings (Sealy) under $1,000. We bought a king sized pocket coil Sealy for I think it was $950. I rarely make these kinds of referrals but I like to support good business when I come across it. If you're looking for memory foam she doesn't have it though, I hate that stuff so didn't matter to me.
