What you take out of this is the fact that last year was an aberration for McGrattan. Last year was the first season in his career where he played over 60 games, and only the third where he played in as many as half of his team's game. Great a guy as he is, McGrattan has always been a guy who spends half his time in the press box.
I also expect that this may be his last year with the Flames, but not for any anti-fighting reasons. Simply because Bollig is the succession plan for that role.
