My guess that its more likely to be mental illness rather than something more sinister. I haven't followed this closely so I haven't heard anymore description of the deceased other than "infants" which typically refers to babies or very young children. Post-partum depression maybe or still-births at home or something of that vein?
Edit: I guess that at this point its not clear if she is the mother. Also, the lawyer has used the word "fetuses". Was only she arrested because only her name was on the rental? Wonder if the husband was unaware? Strange for sure. Lots of questions.
